At Levin Intermediate we pride ourselves in offering a range of The Arts and cultural activities.

We often participate in Artsplash which is run by the Wellington City Council. This event offers Music, Dance and Wearable Arts categories. Showquest is another event we enjoy taking part in and this gives our students an opportunity to explore their dance, drama and performance skills.

Levin Intermediate also has a strong Kapa Haka group who perform at many community events, Music Month, local Waitangi celebrations, Te Ahurei, Children’s Day, Kaumatua day and many more. We also take part bi-annually at the Regional competition held in Rangitāne.

Our Pasifika group learn and perform songs and dances from around the Pacific Islands. We enjoy participating at Jandal Jam, Children’s Day, Horowhenua Pasifika Day and other community events. This year we are also excited to be hosting the “Wellington School’s Pasifika Festival” in our school hall.

Super Arts is aimed at the elite students / groups in Performing Arts from across the Central Region. We like to set the bar high so our students can participate at this level with pride.If you are into dance, drama and cultural performances then Levin Intermediate will definitely have something on offer for you.
